BBPA offers Trek bicycles for all ages, male, female, tag-a-long, pull behind trailer and child’s seat. Rental comes with helmet, bottled water and a map. Bike on flat landscape with a guide or self guided.

Dorchester County hosts the 2nd largest concentration of Bald Eagles on the East Coast and the best place to see them is on the local rivers! We have 1700 miles of gorgeous shoreline for you to explore. We say “So many rivers so little time!”  Rental includes life jacket, paddle and a map. Guided or self guided tours are available.

KAYAKS

Blackwater Paddle and Pedal Adventures only offer the best kayaks, made by Wilderness Systems. We offer solo and tandem kayaks. Our kayaks are never more than 1season old and always in the best, clean shape. Kayaks come with paddles and PFD’s included. Our employees are ACA (American canoe association) certified and offer ACA certified instruction to our renters.

BICYCLES

Blackwater Paddle and Pedal Adventures use only the best in bicycles as well, made by Trek.

Our bicycles are well maintained and come clean and ready for your pleasure. We carry men’s and women’s in various sizes to fit you and your needs. We also have tag a longs and pull behinds. Bikes come with helmets, bottled water and are ready to ride.

TOURS

Blackwater Paddle and Pedal Adventures offers guided and self guided tours of the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and adjoining tributary’s. Come see the pristine water ways and Landscapes of Dorchester County. Better known as the “Everglades of Maryland” Blackwater Refuge is home to the Bald and Golden eagles, osprey, herring, hawks, and all sorts of other wild life of the water way’s and marshes. Our ACA certified tour guides will show you what “only the locals” know. Our tours are individually designed for you or your group. Whether you want a guided tour or you want instruction and to set out on your own tour call us to arrange your Eastern Shore Experience.

Directions: From the West
Take US Route 50 east and cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Continue on Route 50 East to Cambridge. Turn right on to Bucktown Road. We are 7 miles down on the left.
From the North

From Wilmington Delaware take I 95 South to Route 896 which becomes US 301/13. Go south on US 301/13. Take ramp to MD State Road 213; turn left. At first traffic light, turn left onto Route 50 East and continue on this route to Cambridge. Take a right onto Bucktown Road. We are 7 miles down on the left.
