The fact that I was committed to doing a block a day forced me to find inspiration wherever I could. Sometimes I worked on a theme, and that would keep me going for several days. I also asked for suggestions from blog readers from time to time. Sometimes I used other things I was doing at the time as inspiration—like when I was teaching summer art camp classes, I did blocks that related to those classes. But I have to admit there were a couple days when I got down to the wire and it was almost midnight then I just had to force myself to do something with or without inspiration.
