Eventually, we're studying that simplicity equals sanity. We're rebelling opposed to expertise that's too advanced, DVD avid gamers with too many menus, and software program observed by means of 75-megabyte "read me" manuals. The iPod's fresh gadgetry has made simplicity hip. yet occasionally we discover ourselves stuck up within the simplicity paradox: we need whatever that's basic and straightforward to exploit, but in addition does all of the complicated issues we'd ever wish it to do.

Funito 2 Components Classification According to the reference of Hillier’s classification of the urban outer spatial composition , the classification of components which compose the outer space could be defined as follows (shown in Table1). The fourth symbol marked with x* is added by us because the island-arranged open space which includes greenland, garden, etc are also considered to play an important role in the topological structure, and the additional item would make the classification more concrete and exact.
1. 4 Perceptual Activities Perception is based on the activities related to visual imagery undertaken during the design process. Our pilot study demonstrated that the perception of existing geometries and algorithms produced unique patterns of perception in the different designers’ protocols, captured by the perceptual activities coded by ‘P-Geometry’ and ‘P-Algorithm’. It also claimed that occurrence of the ‘P-Geometry’ code (perceiving or attending to existing geometries) that is consistent with the results of the product-based evaluation of creativity.
G1 and T1 therefore can be regarded as expert designers in this study. G2 and T2 were postgraduate architectural students at the time of the experiments, with only one-year experience in parametric design. 1 Expert Panel Assessment Expert judges were asked to assess the outcome of the design tasks using three different evaluation forms: (i) independent non-criteria based assessment of creativity, using the expert’s own set of criteria and assessing each of the parametric model without comparing to each other, (ii) comparative non-criteria based assessment of creativity, again using the expert’s own set of criteria but assessing the parametric models by comparing to each other, and finally (iii) criteria-based assessment of creativity, using the given four criteria of Novelty, Usefulness, Complexity and Aesthetic attractiveness.
