Bike & Boat Outdoor Adventures
Blackwater Paddle & Pedal Adventures offers a day bike and boat adventure for the novas paddlers and peddlers who want to learn more about the history of Dorchester County in a fun way. By land and sea we will visit museums and attractions and explore roads and rivers. We will stop for lunch and enjoy some delicious Eastern Shore cooking. BPPA will cater to your group no matter how large or small.
Rates: $125.00 per person
Groups must call for rates.
The adventure includes your guide for the day, your bike and boat, bottled water, safety equipment, entrance fees and your luscious Eastern Shore lunch.

Dorchester County Natures Bounty Tour
Dorchester County, located on the Atlantic Migratory Flyway, hosts over 250 species of birds and some endangered and threaten species of animals such as the Delmarva Fox Squirrel and the Bald Eagle. This tour will take you to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge which was established in 1933 as a preserve for migratory birds. We will explore one of the local rivers and search for Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Great Blue Heron and more! "Don't forget your camera because this is the place where nature is just waiting to show off for you!"
Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad Tour
Dorchester County is the birthplace of Harriet Tubman, famous conductor of the Underground Railroad. It is here that she ran away from to Canada to escape slavery and experience freedom. And it is here that she returned to rescue her family and safely deliver them to the North to start a new life. Come back in time with us and experience the history, myths and legions of the woman called "Moses".
Finger Pinching Trade Tour
The Eastern Shore of Maryland is famous for some industries that you could easily have your finger pinched while you work. We will visit one of the last slack barrel cooperages in the nation, a working boat builder, a museum honoring the local waterman and also the oldest working seafood plant in the nation. This interesting tour offers a prize to the person who catches someone getting their finger pinched!
